Freight Invoice Auditor

Description: Freight Invoice Auditor. Full time position, M-F 8:30am-5:00pm, overtime as needed.

Reports to: Customer Service & Audit Manager

Job Duties:
  • Validates proper documentation is provided by carriers when presenting invoices for payment.
  • Accurately calculates payment amounts based on customer/carrier pricing agreements.
  • Interpret carrier tariffs and service guides, applying rules correctly to client payments.
  • Answers customer questions, interacting professionally in both email and phone contact.
  • Maintains customer records by updating pricing and payment information in customer payment files.
  • Recommends potential pricing improvements or savings opportunities to management by analyzing customer contracts.
  • Work independently; prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Contributes to team effort.
Skills/Qualifications: Market Knowledge, Documentation Skills, Ability to analyze information, Multi-tasking. Candidate must have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook and exhibit strong math skills.

Data Entry Clerk

Description: Data Entry Clerk. Part time position, Mon-Thurs 8:30am-4:00pm, subject to adjustment as necessary.

Reports to: Data Entry Supervisor

Job Duties:
  • Key information from invoices, bills of lading and delivery receipts into the NTS data entry screen.
  • Maintain a knowledge base of assigned NTS clients to ensure fields and reference numbers are referenced correctly.
  • Work independently; follow priorities as assigned by supervisor.
  • Sustain an average word per minute count of 30/wpm while performing at a 93% accuracy level.
  • Contributes to team effort.
Skills/Qualifications: Must possess High School Diploma or equivalent. A data entry test will be administered prior to the interview in order to assess each candidate’s word per minute and accuracy performance. Interviews will only be conducted for those individuals that successfully complete the data entry test.

Customer Service Representative

Description: Customer Service Representative. Full time position, M-F 8:30am-5:00pm, overtime as needed.

Reports to: Customer Service & Audit Manager

Job Duties:
  • Answers customer questions, interacting professionally in both email and phone contact.
  • Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
  • Maintains customer records by updating account information in customer notes, distributes updates to proper departments ensuring a smooth transition for all process changes/updates.
  • Recommends potential process improvements or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
  • Prepares weekly reports by collecting and analyzing customer information, verifying all weekly/monthly reports and data files are accurate prior to providing to customers.
  • Work independently, prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Contributes to team effort.
